The introductory essays that accompany the fragments and testimonies make this a very intelligible read. Unimaginable that these ancient people already knew presocatics our monumental discoveries of today. They introduced to the West the notion of the world as a kosmosan ordered arrangement that could be understood via rational inquiry.
