I read this book far too quickly. I like Fo simplicity in writing, it's especially nice after reading more difficult writing styles. I see so many Christian leaders spending lots of time protecting their office, trying to hang on to their job.
That is in effect the Good News of The Gospel. I shall not learn the ways of either Sauls or Absaloms.

To the casual Christian however, this book may not have the same impact, nor the relevance, nor the revelation We had a new pastor come to our church. This is a great little audiobook. Oct 29, Angela rated it really liked it. Because Edwards has a thesis to prove, he refers to scripture in a manner which supports his opinion.
